Paradox of Indian women
International women’s day is commemorated on March 8 every year to show the women empowerment and encourage girl child to do good in contemporary issues.
There is no doubt, Indian women are doing very good in every field and building the name of India at global stage be it politics, sports, education etc. But it is done only by bunch of people if we look into the larger population of this group we still find adverse situation that we can not think sitting in four wall and patting out back for the empowerment of women. Yes, we did splendid work in giving equality and taking them out of adverse situation right from the abolition of sati in 1829, widow remarriage and most important education.
Doesn’t it demand change???
Majority of women even today are deprived of their rights and even not aware, there is not a single cause, On the road for development, there is more patholes then road. Proper education, society, culture, the opportunity they are not the only hindrance they work as a blockage in their ways.
Girls enrolment ratio in primary education is low.The girl child is not promoted to secondary education by their parents and the condition of higher education is worst. This will led to low opportunity in job and they find them incompetent in the world of talent and knowledge.
Another problem is very serious they are not given more time. As their parents make them to marry at early age. There are 11% and 31% of women in Srilanka and japan respectively between 30-34 age are single but in Indian it is less than 3%. This create a mental pressure on the sex group to do work fast otherwise they are thrown into marriage.
CHANGE YOURSELF, THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN SOCIETY. Yes today also girls frightened of moving freely and they have emotional and social cause in their mind when they take next step.It is necessary for every girl/women to be strong and fight for the cause if you do not do it by yourself no one come to serve you your tea. You should also change your perspective, be free in your thought and action and leave no stone unturned for the shake of your thoughts and for your community.
Note this in your mind,”If you empower/educate a boy you do it for one but if you do the same for a girl you will be doing for a family”
Leave the women empowerment, equal opportunity and so on to social media and so called intellectuals start doing in right way…
Only your action can bring change.
